Do you offer annual billing?

Features
How does automatic time tracking work?
Our desktop app monitors your active applications and detects when you are working. It automatically starts/stops the timer based on your activity level and can link time to projects based on the apps you use.
How often are screenshots taken?
Screenshot frequency is configurable from 1 to 30 minutes. The default is every 10 minutes during active tracking. Screenshots are only captured when the timer is running.
Can employees see their own screenshots?
Yes, employees can view and delete their own screenshots. Deleted screenshots mark the associated time as "unverified" in reports.
What data does activity monitoring collect?
We track keyboard/mouse activity levels (not keystrokes), active application names, and optionally visited URLs. All monitoring respects privacy settings and exclusion rules.
Can I track time without screenshots?
Yes, screenshots are optional. You can disable them entirely or use the manual timer without running the desktop app.
Privacy & Security
Is my data secure?
Yes. We use AES-256 encryption for data at rest and TLS 1.3 for data in transit. Our infrastructure is hosted on AWS with SOC 2 compliance. We never sell or share your data.
Can I exclude sensitive apps from tracking?
Yes, you can add any application to an exclusion list. Time spent in excluded apps will not be tracked or screenshotted.
What is private mode?
Private mode temporarily pauses all tracking. No time, screenshots, or activity data is recorded while private mode is active. Use it for personal tasks or sensitive meetings.
Can I blur screenshots automatically?
Yes, you can enable blur mode to automatically blur sensitive content in screenshots using pattern matching, or apply a full blur to all screenshots.
Is ClockEye GDPR compliant?
Yes, we are fully GDPR compliant. Users can request data export or deletion, and we provide DPAs for enterprise customers.
